hi, i have one small request for any new version of bt747:
there should be a warning on the screen when i disconnect from the logger and the LOGGING is off. i lost one day of logging my tracks, because loggin was off and i did not recognize it.
now i double check before leaving my home .
the other one is not so easy: any way to check the power-state of the internal battery?

Your first request can be
Your first request can be honored.
Your second request is difficult to honor since I do not know at all how to get that information from the device. Otherwise, it would already be available ;-).
hi, i said, the second one
hi,
i said, the second one won't be easy - may be it's even impossible. but the box knows about the power - otherwise the red light would not start flashing - and need more power ,-(

Hi
I agree about the low power alert - about the charging light, it is less clear. In my case the green led starts flickering when it is almost full - so that could be an 'analog' behaviour (it also works when the switch is 'off').

I understand that, but it is
I understand that, but it is in principle possible to have a more accurate digital reading indicating how much energy there still is in the battery.
It may be that I never observed what is indicating the low power status because I did not examine the device status register when it is in low power and not charging. When it is connected to the USB it is alway charging, so the low power bit will not be low. It can only be low when bluetooth is active and the USB is not.
that's right. with cable: no
that's right.
with cable: no power problem - without cable: no communication to bt747
that't what we call a dead lock ;-(

b.t.w. found the main reason for my power-problem: the new usb-cable which came with the new logger was damaged!
