GPS Data Logger Software - BT747

Is the i-Blue G-log 760 the same device as the QStarz cr-q1100? I have the QStarz unit, and i saw a youtube video of the i-Blue which makes it look like the exact same unit, just with a slightly different case.

Does QStarz or Transystem (i-blue) do anything to the hardware to make connecting to the devices any different?
