Unable to convert raw log files to gpx (or any other) "No output file were created"

locmer's picture

Hello,

Did some searching but couldn't find any obvious reason on solution.

I have a Iblue 747 A+ on a Mac MBP (Snow leopard) latest online version of BT747 software (2.x.1630). I can download GPS data just fine but then I want to convert it to GPX (for google earth) (BTW this has worked just fine before a couple of weeks ago) and I get the following:

"No ouput files were created

This usually means:

- filter did not select anypoints

- log does not contain any data

try selecting all pionts if that does not work it may be a bug."

I think I have the date ranges wide enough to select all points (If I understand that correctly).

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Locmer.

Hi Your device is a Holux

Hi

Your device is a Holux M241 - so you must set the device type appropriately (you must set it on the far right of the convert button).

YEEEES ! It works ! My device

YEEEES !

It works ! My device is an HOLUX M-1000C.

I understand now that to parameters must be set.

One in the parameter menu / protocol --> Holux M-1000C / GPSport 245 for the communication between the computer and the GPS.

An other one (on the far right of the convert button), in order to select the correct file format for the conversion. And for the M-1000C, the M-241 must be selected ...

Many, many, .... thanks

Michel

Great, so I'll have to amend

Great, so I'll have to amend the text to add M-1000C next to M-241 for conversion.

Hi, BT747 woks well but

Hi,

BT747 woks well but altitude is not recorded and the values of speed are erratics. Those values are OK when HOLUX M-1000C is in use with a navigation sofware (BT) ...

Is the M-1000C responsible of this problem, or is it a BT747 bug ?

Thanks for your answer ...
