Columbus V990 - New tracker

I've just got this logger.

It says it has a MTK Mark 2 chip

BT747 identifies it as Model 0000 (iBlue737/QStarz 810)

Firmware AXN _1.30()

Linux kernel identifies it as

New USB device found, idVendor=0e8d, idProduct=3329
New USB device strings: Mfr=3, Product=4, SerialNumber=0
Product: GPS Receiver
Manufacturer: MTK
ttyACM0: USB ACM device

mtkbabel says

$ mtkbabel -s 115200 -p /dev/ttyACM0 -f gpsdata -t -w
Packet checksum error: expected 0x00, computed 0x2E
MTK Test OK
MTK Firmware: Version: 1, Release: AXN_1.30, Model ID: 0000

It has a removeable microSD card and the data is written to it in .csv format

Hi Thanks for the

Hi

Thanks for the feedback.

IMHO, the device does not support the usual logger commands as the log is written in CSV format on the microSD and not to an internal flash component.

So you can use BT747 to see the usual MTKII parameters and configure some of these.  And you can use BT747 to convert the CSV files.

I do not know if it is possible to retrieve the CSV files using the USB connection.
