i can't connect to my iblue 747. i discovered that the middle pin on the usb connector is missing. can anybody please take a look at his usb connector on a iblue 747 and can tell me is there a little golden pin like on the other 4 pins.
i think the middle pin is for data so i think ist important to have one but before i start soldering i might ask to double check it ;).

thank you for this information .i finaly found a mac an managed to connect via bluetooth. the next problem: i can't download data. the memory usage says unkown and when i hit the download button nothing happend at all.
what can i do? i "try read from faulty memory" but it ask my to deledt all data, so i stopt. is that right?
please help me.

You probably have an old iBlue that requires a hardware modification to make the bluetooth connection work both ways. I suppose that you can see the current position.

i will try the the modification. it seems easyer to do that and rescue the data befor change the usb connector.

I did this change on two
I did this change on two iBlue 747's - worked (and still works perfectly).
I did however electrically protect the leads of the resistor with some shrinking "socks" (I put the entire resistor into one and shrinked the "sock".
